I sincerely hope you haven't forgetten #561944, and that ditching
GNUstep packages out of squeeze is not your plan.
It is somewhat depressing that we've been waiting for more than 8
months without a single word from you ("Wait until further notice",
"Wait for...", "No chance... because...", etc.).
Confirming again that we're ready to commence the GNUstep transition
as soon as the Release Team approves it, and we'll fix all breakages
in due time. For what we can't fix, we will act aggressively: "ROM"
removals from the archive (but if we can't fix these things, what does
"maintainers" stand for?).
AFAICT, only cynthiune.app is currently involved in an ongoing
transition. Traditionally, entagled transitions causing trouble have
been poppler (0.14 postponed post-squeeze) and ffmpeg (no new stuff
planned for squeeze TTBOMK).
Thanks for (re)considering.
P.S: (I'll be offline till Sunday noon/evng UTC+3.)
