Thanks for the report.  Could you please rebuild mknfonts.tool with
"noopt nostrip" and post the gdb backtrace from `mknfonts
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/<some-font-you-have-installed>'?

If it doesn't crash for some reason, set the program args to all fonts
(the same way postinst calls it).
