OK, thanks.  Unfortunately I can't reproduce on i386.  Could you please
do the following:

1. Install gnumail.app-dbg
2. Run GNUMail in gdb with the option --GNU-Debug=dflt
3. Send the output + the new backtrace

It would be useful to confirm if there is some problem with another app
that uses NSNotificationCenter, for example preview.app.
