At the time of your report, it was rather buggy.  Nowadays it seems to
be in a workable state but it looks like nobody is actually using it.
Except for testing purposes (helping upstream discover GC-related
bugs), I don't really see any benefit in having a GC-enabled GNUstep
Base in Debian.  Feel free to convince me otherwise, of course.
