[Debian GNUstep maintainers] gnustep-back experimental branch?

Are we going to do the same (rewriting git history) with gnustep-back?

* We can proceed and merge the new upstream release to master,
as there are Eric's changes already on top of 0.25.0-2. If an
RC bug pops up, we can live with it for a few weeks, I guess.

* Rewrite history in the same manner as was done for -gui (master
remains strictly 0.25.0-2, all other changes are put to experimental
and 0.26.0 is merged into experimental. When the transition begins,
  merge experimental to master).

Opinions?

P.S. I've already merged -gui/0.26.0 to the experimental branch. Had
to tweak the watch file to use ftp.gnustep.org directly as the webpage
is lagging. I wonder why it was changed in the first place?

P.P.S. I've put a gbp.conf file at gnustep-{gui,back}.git on Alioth
with the following contents:

[DEFAULT]
pristine-tar = True
sign-tags = True

Any idea how to propagate this when people pull?
