Yes it  was to avoid cluttering debian dir and avoid to mix templates(to
edit) and generated files (to not edit).
And yes it is problematic for debian/control.
Comments or documents are always welcome.

At last -gui upload, there was a soname bump, then -gui entered in the
new queue.
And ftp-master found issue in copyright file. Thus I have rewritten it.
I've used licensecheck and cme to try to simplify the task.
But it seems these tools have changed, and since -gui will reenter in
the new queue, I will have to recheck the copyright file.
