Yes, as simple as that.  No need for helper scripts and all that.

The only problem with this approach is that control will be always
regenerated, including when cleaning the package.  To avoid that, we
need an auxiliary file like it was done with control.tmp.  But the
command to generate contol is simple and quick enough so I don't think
that's necessary.

If you agree, I'll go on with that straightforward change.
