There shouldn't be any difference between my patch and the vanilla 
version, but the encoding should be different.

Anyway, I've checked the content of your deb package  without installing 
and the plist is correct. But I don't have i386 and can't build the deb 
package because gnustep dependancies packages are not installed on my 
system.

It should be OK.

Nice to see someone working on gnustep in debian.
