There is no ETA yet. It definitely won't happen before 3.5 is released
and the majority of these FTBFS bugs are fixed. I would not expect the
transition to start before around March / April.

That would be great. It looks like the two errors in the build log are
due to the CODEC_ constant renames which are easy to fix.
