I tried to initiate a discussion regarding this topic on debian-devel.
[1] Unfortunately only one developer except you and me participated.
Anyway, nobody objected. Thus I suggest to move forward and do the
transition.

If you agree with the transition, a package upload with libgcrypt11 in
/lib would be great. This would allow me to go ahead with the cryptsetup
transision (bug #604936). I guess uploads to experimental would be
appropriate due to the squeeze freeze.
