I tested the binaries (gnutls-bin, libgnutls-deb0-28) and they work in
all AES modes, 128 or 256 bits, CBC and GCM. I used gnutls-cli to
connect both to the SMTP server on the same machine and to some SMTP
server I picked out of my logs that also supported all those ciphers.
Furthermore, exim4 was able to use AES-128-CBC to deliver some test
mails to other SMTP servers.

So it seems to work fine.

Thanks for maintaining the Debian packages and a pleasant bug reporting
experience!
