Hello Andreas,
libgnutls was upgraded from 3.7.7-2 to 3.7.8-2. And for the commit: I do programming for about 40 years, but never that close to the system. Therefor I cannot say whether or not this commit was the one that fixed it.
But if it is in any way useful to you I could try to downgrade to the 3.7.7-2, debug version, and gdb through it for checking at which point the crash exactly had happened. As I said, I am not sure that I will succeed in this… But then again, maybe this is the challenge I need...
