Well, some people *do* recognise it as useful. Maybe we can have a team
discussion?

If there is an error when cloning, it is because the default branch has
not been appropiately set.

I have been using different branch names, and I made it pretty explicit
to the team, so nobody was surprised.

About leaving things alone or not, we all have preferences, and
personally I don't like some of yours, but let's try to discuss it with
proper arguments.

"I don't like it" is not a great argument, but I am open for convincing
if you make a good case.

In any case, as I said many times before, I would like the team to adopt
a unique standard, but we are pretty far from that.
