Hello!

Yes, It would be possible but it would require backporting all of
Syncthing's build dependencies. The fact that Syncthing runs in Jessie
is due to the fact that golang binaries bundle all dependencies.

I don't intend to spend time backporting Syncthing build deps to Jessie
for now.
