Considering this scenario, it may very well be the infrastructure. I
already noticed in the past (it's on my TODO) that britney scheduled
jobs for source packages where the binary packages were taken over by
other packages.

It is not preventing, merely delaying. But after I check, I'll fool the
system in a decent way and let you know what I did.
