I'd like to pitch in and suggest you take a look at the team's website:

 - https://go-team.pages.debian.net/

It would be great if the team website pointed newcomers to the right
tools and answered these kind of questions.

Do you find that the information on the team website is not enough?

Perhaps you have suggestions on what topics we should cover?

The source for the website is here:
 - https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/go-team.pages.debian.net

Maybe you can open issues, or better, pull requests.

One of the things I notice is that we could probably write an updated
introduction to dh-make-golang, or maybe improve the man page.
