I agree it would be good if these are not compressed.. But as I
understand the policy, they must be compressed if they are documentation
or examples.

An alternative would be to ship them in
/usr/share/promenteus-node-exporter, but I am not sure that is
appropriate.. Maybe you can advise?

True. But right now I don't have the bandwidth do write those.. I would
be glad to add them if you write them :)
