[pkg-go] Bug#915455: Removal of gb?

Hi Tianon,

I was wondering if your package "gb" could be fixed to build with the
current golang-1.10 compiler. Right now, it has a hard dependency on
golang-1.9 and FTBFS, therefore preventing the removal of the old and
obsolete golang-1.9 package:

Do you think that gb can be fixed to build with golang-1.10? If not,
would you agree to remove gb from unstable?
