After fixing the reverse dependencies (see earlier e-mails in this bug),
we are ready to remove the golang-github-bmizerany-assert package.  It
has no remaining reverse dependencies in Debian.

The upstream project was declared unmaintained ~10 years ago:

"NO LONGER MAINTAINED - Just use Go's testing package."

I don't think it is useful to keep this package in Debian.
