Source: golang
Version: 1.4.2
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
Hi Go maintainers,
Currently golang does not compile on ppc64el on version 1.4.2, but the upstream
release is almost ported to ppc64el. In fact, we are able to compile and run
golang on ppc64el using some non-upstream patches[1]
Anyway, I want to start ppc64el builds for the golang package, and, as soon as
the package migrates to a supported version, we are going to have it on
Debian/ppc64el.

PS: I am not requesting package upgrade at all (yet :-)
