I guess it depends on your definition of issue.  (-:  My philosophy is fix the issue or
override errors with lintian.  Seeing a lintian error to me indicates that there is some
work that needs doing.

In the case here the binary files are required to run various tests so I think repackaging
the source to remove them is not the right answer.  Unless we remove the individual
data files that aren't required for Debian builds.  That sounds like too much fiddly work
for not a lot of gain to me.
