[pkg-golang-devel] Bug#833470: golang-go: No reasonable default for GOPATH?

Upstream doesn’t prescribe a GOPATH, so I don’t think Debian should either.
It’d be a shame if Go behaved differently depending on which Linux
distribution one uses.

If you’d like to see this changed, please lobby upstream :).
