[DebianGIS-dev] gdal-bin, grib support

Hi,
I am using Debian Lenny and I need gdal with GRIB support. I installed gdal-bin (1.5.2) for Lenny, but this version does not support GRIB format (at least that's the information that I get when using gdalinfo on a grib file or gdalinfo --formats). I would like to know if the gdal-bin package from squeeze (which is much newer, because it's 1.6.3) supports GRIB format. And if not, then what's the best way to enable GRIB support for gdal on a Debian machine without the necessity od compiling stuff?
