Wed May 12 18:19:23 UTC 2010

Package: python-gdal
Version: 1.6.3-3+b2
Severity: important

frankie at scelbron:/tmp$ gdal2tiles.py -title "Natural Earth II" -v
NE2_modis3_4326_5.tif naturalearth
Usage: gdal2tiles.py [options] input_file(s) [output]

gdal2tiles.py: error: Processing of several input files is not supported.

Please first use a tool like gdal_vrtmerge.py or gdal_merge.py on the files:
gdal_vrtmerge.py -o merged.vrt Natural Earth II NE2_modis3_4326_5.tif

This is a non-sense because the image is a single band RGB image.
