Hi, this has been fixed upstream 20 months ago. http://gpsdrive.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/gpsdrive/trunk/data/gpsdrive.desktop just awaits the upload of a new package in Debian, stay tuned.... thanks, Hamish
