Package: totalopenstation
Version: 0.3-2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
the totalopenstation-gui program from this package does not start as
it is missing the python-tk package:
steko at ganymede:~$ totalopenstation-gui
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/totalopenstation-gui", line 29, in <module>
from Tkinter import *
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/lib-tk/Tkinter.py", line 42, in <module>
raise ImportError, str(msg) + ', please install the python-tk package'
ImportError: No module named _tkinter, please install the python-tk package
python-tk is in Build-Depends but not in Depends (or Recommends) for
this package. The upstream setup.py does not contain a dependency on
Tkinter because Tkinter is part of the Python standard library (I am
the upstream author, btw).
Thank you,
steko
