Dear Maintainer,
the indicated version of hdf5 fails to build on ia64 with the following
message:

../../../../tools/lib/h5tools_str.c:635:1: error: expected expression
before '/' token
make[3]: *** [h5tools_str.lo] Error 1


This prevents the migrating of package into testing and also causes #711561
