[...] Aah, I wasn't aware of the auto-rejection. I was trying to do the
bare minimum to solve the FTBFS on ppc64el.

Sorry about the pristine tar mistake, I took it from the wrong
directory. Now you can see that I did consider doing [1] above at one
point :-)
