What kind of layers do you have active in QGIS?

I'm using a couple of WMS & WFS layers for which the data is fetched
over the network.

qgis has a debug package, but osgearth doesn't yet. With the new
automatic -dbgsym packages [0][1] osgearth will have those after the
next upload.

This seems to imply that you're using a local data source, that may be
the specific case that's not handled properly.
