Can you please apply the attached patch which adds "hppa" to the architectures which do support openmpi ?
openmpi support was added for hppa just recently with this patch: bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=776730

PS: Probably only the changes to "debian/rules" are necessary since the "debian/control" file will generated then.
Nevertheless, I added both changes in this patch...
