Bug#611338: ncdump seems to support OpenDAP URI's only up to 55 characters long

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for reporting this bug, and I am sorry nobody responded before today.

I have tried to reproduce this in my old Debian Squeeze box (netcdf
1:4.1.1-5), and in Debian unstable (netcdf 1:4.1.3-7.2), and it seems to
be working fine. It was not necessary for me to add the OCLOGFILE
environment variable to achieve this. Of course the URL needs to updated
to the latest 2014 data:

$ ncdump -k
http://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov:9090/dods/gfs_hd/gfs_hd20141216/gfs_hd_00z
64-bit offset

Could you please confirm that you are still having this problem?
