+  The old osmium project has been deprecated by its author.

+  All users of the old osmium project should move to the new libosmium
+  which has taken its place. The new libosium headers are provided by the
+  libosmium2-dev package.

+  osmjs has been discontinued along with the old osmium. Based on the new
+  libosmium the osmium Node.js module is available via NPM.
