Thanks for working on this package, but I'm a bit confused about this 
upload.

Why is there no git repository for this package under pkg-grass on 
Alioth?

Why was there no further discussion about this package in the RFP/ITP 
bugreport [0] nor the thread on the debian-gis list [1]?

If this package is be maintained within the Debian GIS team, you need to 
read the team policy and ensure that your package conform to it. [2]
