Have you forwarded this patch upstream?

If not, please do so and suggest upstream to use the fix_typos.sh script 
from GDAL to catch these before they release:

This doesn't handle many of the common issues with GitHub releases, have 
a look at the watch file in other packages to handle those, e.g.:
