Package: python-otb
Version: 6.0.0+dfsg-1~xenial1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
the python-otb package (python lib for otb applications) does not work
out of
the box on my system. The otbApplication Python package is not found
automatically.
The command to reproduce the issue (just try to import otbApplication):
python
Python 2.7.12 (default, Nov 19 2016, 06:48:10)
[GCC 5.4.0 20160609] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import otbAplication
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: No module named otbAplication
I think that the package installation should probably update the
PYTHONPATH and
add the path to the otbApplication.py library.
On my system the library is located in /usr/lib/otb/python folder.
Regards,
