The muparserx support has been enabled in git, and, assuming it doesn't 
break the build, will be included in the next upload.

Seeing that you're using a custom build of the package, would you like 
to get involved in maintaining the otb package in Debian proper?

I don't use OTB myself and only keep the package on life-support. The 
package really needs someone who actually uses it to help maintain it.
