grass76.patch is still present in debian/patches, but should be removed.

You also removed the conditional rules for Qt3DExtras from debian/rules,
and removed the files for libqgis-3d in addition to removing it from the
control file. Just setting -DWITH_3D=FALSE is sufficient to not build
the 3d library on xenial. The additional changes just add noise to your
diff.

To prevent such issues, always check your diff against the packaging in
Debian, and against your previous revision. Making as few changes as
possible is one of the golden rules for backporting.
