I see debian/rules still passes --with-wxwidgets which is now just
cruft which it'd be good to clean up as it's potentially confusing
that it seems to use wx-config which now won't be installed during
the build:

FYI, I've also filed https://github.com/OSGeo/grass/issues/2578 upstream
as it looks like --with-wxwidgets was removed entirely and then
accidentally partly restored as a dummy option as part of an unrelated
change.
