Debian package for bpack

Dear Sebastiaan, dear all,
I'm thinking to maintain the package in subject in debian GIS.
The ITP bug for it is at [1].

I'm not totally sure that it fits in Debian GIS, because it is a general 
purpose package for decoding binary data structures.
By the way I use it for decoding Sentinel-1 RAW data, that's why I'm 
proposing.

If it is OK for you to have bpack in Debian GIS I kindly ask to create 
the git repository and sponsor the initial upload.
