I had some warnings from lint about it and I added it explicitly.
But in the end the issue was another so I guess that it could be safely 
removed.
I will do it and ensure that all works fine.

yes, you are right.
Honestly the man pages are automatically generated with help2man but, in 
general, they are of quite poor quality.
I was tempted to not provide them at all.
What do you think?
