** Vascular Score: Moving beyond ABI and TBI

Vascular diagnostics are evolving fast – and so is the way we measure and interpret vascular health.

One part in this is our recently released Vascular Health Score that enables medically trained personnel to interpret the results of our 1-Minute Vascular Checks easily – even when a doctor isn't available at the moment. We believe that every nurse should be able to interpret and understand the results without the need for a doctor present.

The Vascular Health Score is an AI-Assisted parameter that summarizes all relevant data into one, easy to understand, percentage value. The AngE-Software will produce a detailed summary of the measured data, including:
* abnormal readings,
* possible indications and
* recommendations for follow up.

The AngE™ ABI+ now automatically calculates a Vascular Health Score, combining multiple parameters into one easy-to-read result. It is a standardized score that supports early detection and patient engagement.

** New study – New scientific proof of SOT's expertise
------------------------------------------------------------

A recently published study in Biomedicines confirms the value of quantitative pulse volume recordings at the forefoot level, performed entirely with the AngE™ system. MSA and multiparametric approaches add significant diagnostic value beyond ABI.

Key findings include:
* Maximum systolic amplitude (MSA) achieved AUC values of up to 0.90 for detecting PAD – outperforming traditional PVR metrics such as UST and USR.
* Even in patients with falsely elevated ABI (≥ 1.3), MSA showed a sensitivity of 96.8% and a specificity of 87.5% for PAD.
* Quantitative PVR values improved significantly after revascularization – a clear indication of their value in monitoring treatment success.

These results highlight the added value of AngE™ PVR diagnostics – especially in cases where ABI alone does not reveal critical vascular conditions.
