test_first_last from test_properties.py is regularly failing in debci
testing on riscv64, e.g.

The test imposes a 500 ms deadline, but riscv64 is slow and regularly
completes the task in 600 ms, failing the test.

test_first_last should probably be skipped on riscv64.
