Bug#1113872: gpsprune: Generic blue application icon in Gnome

Package: gpsprune
Version: 26-1~bpo13+1
Severity: minor
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian at activityworkshop.net

Dear Maintainer,

After installing either version 25.2 or version 26 (from backports) on Trixie,
the application icon shown in Gnome is a generic blue diamond-shape with cogs,
I guess this is a default icon for any kind of binary executable application
which doesn't define its own icon. With previous versions of gpsprune on Bookworm
and earlier, the correct "Prune" icon was shown.

Maybe the new Gnome requires the icon to be specified differently, maybe in the desktop
file? There is a file "gpsprune.desktop" in the debian folder, does this maybe need to
be extended? Or could it be related to the package warning that the package is
"missing a Metainfo file"?
Or is this maybe even just a Java21 issue and nothing to do with Gnome?

Also, two other VERY minor things, just for correctness' sake:
 * in the copyright file it should probably say 2006-2025 instead of 2006-2022
 * in the upstream/metadata there's a "hhttps" instead of https

Thanks a lot!
