It passes validation which suggests nothing is wrong with it:

  $ appstreamcli validate /usr/share/metainfo/org.qgis.qgis.appdata.xml
  ✔ Validation was successful.

Which is expected because the diff since 3.40.15 only changed some URLs and releases.
