Looking at that more closely:

Is there a particular need to update Standards-Version?  For convenience
I updated it to one that worked on Ubuntu 10.04 and, I think, Debian
stable.

Obviously Homepage needs fixing too; I obviously should check more
carefully.  Also the VCS- headers may not be appropriate -- that repo
wasn't up-to-date with the packages when I last looked.
