Hi Afif,
Happy New Year....

The error I reported is misleading. In fact, my configuration does not
allow me to submit any jobs. T tried it out with a test job. Whenever I
submit something, I get...
Unable to run job: warning: pi's job is not allowed to run in any queue
I did some googling and read somewhere that the message probably has
something to do with my @allhosts settings. So I created an @allhosts hosts
group (which I did not have) and added 'raspberrypi-jessie' (my hostname)
to the host list in that group. I have made sure that 'raspberrypi-jessie'
is an execution, administration and submit host and 'pi' a user. Does 'pi'
need to be part of a user access list?
I have not been able to run qmon on my headless raspberrypi, so I have been
configuring everything from the command line
I have done quite of bit of reading of gridengine documentation over the
weekend, but seem to be stuck.... Why cannot I submit any job?
I hope you can help me....
Thanks in advance.
