We're adding support to the debian installer to find other OSes, and set
up grub to boot them. Lots of users seem to want this for some reason. ;-)
As part of doing this, we need to add the entries to menu.lst, and that
mean we need to map between the linux partition name and grub's
representation.=20
There is a nice peice of code to do just that in update-grub, in the
convert function, but there's no good way to get at that function. Could
you please break it out into a separate file -- either a standalone
utility, or just a file somewhere we can source and then call the
function would be ok. In the meantime, we've copied the function into
grub-installer.
