I've closed just now bug #263648 (this was debian specific) and 
put in a temporary fix for #260276 (this is the one where > 12 hds are used). 

I can't reproduce #236356

and

#240843 and #247277 seem like feature requests that should have been
directly addressed to you.

No problem, part of the job. I'll keep doing what I can with patches,
