Package: grub
Version: 0.94+cvs20040511-1
Severity: normal
Neither grub-reboot, nor manually telling grub to
savedefault --default=3D1 --once
or
savedefault --once --default=3D1
make grub boot the second stanza. In fact, savedefault doesn't seem
to work at all.
I have tried with
default saved
in menu.lst, and with
default 0
and even though every stanza has the 'savedefault' directive, grub
will boot the first stanza *no matter what*.
I would love to see this fixed. If a fix is not possible, then
please remove the 'savedefault --once' patch, the grub-reboot
script, and include a reference in README.Debian accordingly.
Thanks,
