Robert, what do you think? Bellow is my ChangeLog:

grubconf (0.5.1-2) unstable; urgency=low

* debian/control: added
DEB_CONFIGURE_EXTRA_FLAGS := --enable-splashimage
which fixes package build for users who do not have grub installed
onto their HD as a boot loader.
